So I says to the Internet, I says...

Okay. I'll admit that I do have MySpace friends who are "friends" with Tila Tequila. I'll just get that out of the way.

While quickly viewing a friend's page, I noticed Tila in his top 72. I wonder why people I know...some highly intelligent people...would 'befriend' Ms. Tequila. Now, I realize that MySpace is the place to keep up with old pals, almost acquaintances, local bands, and funny profiles. I, myself am friends with Eric Cartman, Keith Moon (he dead, lolz) and Zombie Lincoln (he living dead, lolz). I'm also friends with Mr. Tea. Not the fellow with the Bad Attitude who pities you for not eating his cereal...a Korean guy I know who likes exotic hot liquids. Plus, I'm happy to announce that The NonPros are now friends with TV's own Carl Winslow from...whatever the real name of that show was.

But really...Tila Tequila? That's not even funny on an ironic level. Wait. Is that still a level, or did Alanis Morrissette kill it in 1996?

If you read her MySpace screen name, you'll read the ever exciting headline: TILA TEQUILA BOOK IS OUT NOW!

WOW! Holy Nutzak! So all obvious one liners aside...who do you think the publishers got do to the forward? Wonder if Vonnegut finished reading the rough draft before he passed. What a fucking coup! Didn't realize she had any interest in the written arts. Side note: by written arts I don't mean ass hat tatoos. Maybe Hunter S. Thompson was the ghost writer? Heh...ghost writing...he dead, too.

On a positive note, because...just because: if you're interested in hearing new music, might I suggest Nashville's own Paper Rival? I caught the video for Cassandra on MTV U a few weeks back and decided to check out their Myspace page. I'd describe them (and that song, in particular) as a cross between two of my all time favorite bands: Jump, Little Children and The Shins. Check 'em if you have time.

It's whatever. See us @ The Warehouse Saturday! It'll be neat. Gimmicks galore, I promise.
